High-Temperature Aramid Insulation Paper
3A Associates’ Aramid Insulation Paper is a 100% meta-aramid electrical insulation paper designed for demanding insulation systems in motors, generators, transformers, and power equipment.
With strong dielectric properties, mechanical toughness, and flame resistance, the paper provides dependable electrical insulation in applications exposed to elevated temperatures and demanding operating conditions.
It is UL-recognised to the 220°C insulation class and carries a UL94 V-0/VTM-0 flame rating. The material also offers excellent chemical stability against varnishes, adhesives, transformer oils, lubricating oils, and refrigerant oils commonly encountered in electrical equipment.
Available in standard thicknesses up to 0.76 mm, 3A Aramid Insulation Paper can be selected according to the electrical, thermal, and mechanical requirements of the insulation system.
